Members of Quincycles serve with others on the commission and over the last eight years have worked hand-in-hand with city leaders to bring the city's first bike lane to Adams Street in 2014. The group began nine years ago as a small gathering at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Quincycles works with the city to promote safety for bicyclists and safe practices for riders. Today, the group boasts dozens of dues-paying members and hundreds of casual road bikers who join group rides and attend educational sessions presented by Quincycles at the library and YMCA.
